Matthias has over 25 years of senior management and board level experience including Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer roles across a number of industries and geographies. He started his career in investment banking with Schroders and Morgan Stanley, and later has led publicly traded and private companies in highly regulated environments in North America and Europe.
His fourth daughter was at Bute House from 2019-23 where he was a member of the parents’ association and he and his wife were class representatives in three of their daughter’s four years at Bute. All four of his daughters have gone on to senior boarding schools.
Matthias was educated at Westminster School and King’s College London. He currently spends his time between the UK, Switzerland and Germany. He is an avid skier, hiker and gardener.
