Oliver is currently the Head at St Paul’s Juniors in Barnes, a school which educates around 500 boys aged between 7 and 13. Prior to joining SPJ, Oliver spent the first twenty years of his teaching career in all-girls education, working in a grammar school as well as an independent senior and prep school. After working as a Head of Drama, Senior Housemaster and Deputy Head at Kent College Pembury, Oliver moved up to London in 2016 to take up his first headship at Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School.
Oliver is a passionate advocate of the arts. Prior to training as a teacher, he completed an MA in Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London, and then spent several years writing plays for children while running a youth theatre in Putney. Oliver is married with two children and lives in Barnes. He enjoys running and spending time in London’s wonderful array of art galleries.
