This term, Year 5 students and their parents have been reading Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles. Each week, students were posed a number of questions about the text to consider with their parents as they read. Students then met with Dr Groszewski to discuss their ideas every Thursday.
This week, we were delighted to welcome our Year 5 parents to school for lunch and activities related to the book. We were particularly impressed with the artistic skills of some of our students and parents when they were set the challenge of redesigning the cover for one of Sherlock Holmes’s most famous cases.
Thank you to all the parents and students who participated in the book club. We’re delighted that you had so much fun with this shared experience.
