After returning from their week on the slopes, Year 6 visited Provence in their French lessons and learnt all about Herbes de Provence. They mixed thym, sarriette, romarin et origan to put in a special hand sewn bag for Mothering Sunday. The girls wrote Maurice Carême’s poem :- Pour ma mère in their greetings card and included Mme. Vogel’s special recipe for Sauce Tomate aux herbes de Provence. Bonne Fête Maman et bon appetit !
