Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to York this year. The action packed itinerary included visits to Wonderlab at the Railway Museum, the Jorvik Centre and Dig as well as York Chocolate Story, where they were able to learn about the history of this ancient city, as well as its reputation as a chocolate making centre (chocolate tasting and making included!). On the visit to Flamingo Land they enjoyed an informative tour of the zoo as well as testing their courage levels on the roller coasters. In addition they also managed to spend a day on a Viking village, dressed as, and living like, Vikings with their hardworking, Saxon slaves!
