After attending author/illustrator Bridget Marzo’s workshop on MFL Day, every Year 5 student created an illustrated French story, showcasing impressive variety and creativity. After returning from their week on the slopes, Year 6 visited Provence in their French lessons and learnt all about Herbes de Provence. After her half-term week in Méribel . Alisa treated 6R to a lovely virtual trip to Les Trois Vallées in anticipation of their ski trip to les Ménuires. We loved the fascinating references to the culture, geography, wildlife and gastronomic delights of the region.
Our amazing 1L class had a fantastic time celebrating French and Language Day! We dressed up in French and Spanish themed outfits, crafted beautiful French flags using crepe paper, and immersed ourselves in a wonderful French storytelling workshop. It was a fun and engaging way to explore the language and culture—très magnifique!
French club have been singing songs about l’automne et la noël and they have made serviettes de table last half term and cute bonhommes de neige for Christmas.
